Key Responsibilities – Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to students of all abilities. – Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and participation. – Develop and adapt resources to align with curriculum standards and support innovative teaching practices. – Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential. – Support students’ understanding of key literary concepts and effective communication. – Work collaboratively with school staff to enhance the overall learning experience. – Promote positive behaviour and ensure adherence to school policies. What We’re Looking For – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English at secondary school level. – Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language. – Excellent communication and organisational skills to inspire and engage students. – Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs. – Experience in developing creative teaching materials is desirable. – Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
