The setting is searching for a strong leader who can provide strategic and operational leadership necessary to run a high-quality early years setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, leading a team of practitioners, and managing the nursery’s commercial success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursery as a strategic and operational manager, ensuring safety, well-being, and commercial success.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a minimum Level 3 early years qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in early years.
  • Grade C maths GCSE / Functional Skills Level 2 (or willing to obtain this within 2 years of starting employment).
  • Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one).
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS.
  • Commercial awareness (occupancy & budgets).
  • Proficient in safeguarding and child protection.
Hours
  • Full time, Monday - Friday between 8.00am - 6.00pm.

Supply Star Little Learners Recruitment is committed to safeguarding and protecting children, young people and adults. All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS and two satisfactory references. You must have a clear enhanced DBS certificate to be considered for this role. If you do not have one, Supply Star Recruitment can support you in obtaining one at a cost of £63.
