Supply Star Recruitment are seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Teacher of Geography to join our clients Humanities department on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about geography and inspiring young people.

The Role

  • Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
  • Contributing to the wider work of the Humanities department
  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, achievement and inclusion

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent recognised in the UK)
  • Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
