We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and energetic Nursery Manager to take the reins and lead a nursery setting in Leamington Spa. The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will take full operational, financial, and strategic responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and motivate staff while fostering a value-based, supportive team culture.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the nursery consistently meets all EYFS, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
- Educational Quality: Oversee the planning and execution of stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities.
- Parent Partnerships: Build and maintain strong, transparent relationships with parents and carers.
- Business Management: Manage occupancy levels, fee administration, marketing, and the nursery budget.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (Level 5 or a degree is highly desirable).
- Grade C Maths GCSE/ Functional Skills Level 2 (or willing to obtain this within 2 years of starting employment)
- Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within an early years setting.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and inspection procedures.
- Safeguarding: Up-to-date, comprehensive Safeguarding and Child Protection training.
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday between 8.00am - 6.00pm.
