The Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework. You will support children’s learning and development while building strong relationships with families and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities for Nursery Practitioner
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Act as a key person for a group of children
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are always followed
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3+ Early Years qualification
- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Qualification (desirable)
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
