An Ofsted Good nursery, part of an award winning chain, is recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Room Leader. Lead and inspire your colleagues to shape the lives of young children!
Core Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supporting and mentoring staff while overseeing the daily running of the room.
- Curriculum Management: Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Child Development: Carrying out observations and assessments to track and support children’s progress.
- Environment Creation: Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and enabling indoor and outdoor learning environment.
- Communication: Building strong relationships with parents and managing effective handovers.
Required experience: Minimum 1 year management experience in childcare
Hours of work: Full time, Monday-Friday
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Qualification (desirable)
- English GCSE grade C/4+ (if qualified after Sept 2014)
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
