Supply Star Recruitment are seeking reliable, confident, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as casual Classroom Supervisors/Cover Supervisors. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, or anyone with experience working with young people. The successful candidates will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work provided. No formal teaching qualification is required, although previous experience working with children or young people is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absences
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and productive learning environment
  • Support students in completing assigned work
  • Report any issues or concerns to teaching staff or senior leaders
  • Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
