We are currently recruiting for an English Supply Teacher to join an Outstanding-rated secondary school on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week until Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English teacher looking for a flexible temporary position within a high-performing and supportive school environment. The Role As an English Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering the absence of a permanent member of staff. The successful candidate will: * Teach English across KS3 and KS4 * Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons * Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management * Support students in making strong academic progress * Follow the school's existing schemes of work and curriculum * Work positively with the English department and wider school team * Provide continuity and stability for students during the teacher's absence * Teach KS5 where appropriate, if experienced and confident to do so About You We are looking for a qualified and experienced English Teacher who: * Has experience teaching English at secondary level * Is confident teaching KS3 and KS4 * Has strong classroom management skills * Can quickly establish positive relationships with students * Is adaptable, reliable and professional * Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification * Has recent UK secondary school teaching experience * KS5 experience is desirable but not essential The School The successful candidate will be joining an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school with high expectations for both teaching and learning.
