Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Surrey. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom teachers with lesson delivery and provide targeted support to students who need additional help. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be patient, proactive and passionate about supporting students across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their learning and academic progress.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups with students who need additional help.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Provide feedback on student progress to teachers and senior staff.
- Help prepare and organise classroom activities and learning resources.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential.
- A passion for education and helping young people.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to support across various subjects.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
