About the Role
As a Support Worker with Supply Staff Ltd, you’ll provide care and guidance to young people in various settings. Your duties may include:
- Supporting young people in family homes, helping to create a stable and positive environment.
- Delivering community-based support to help young people engage with education, employment, or activities.
- Assisting with 24/7 wrap-around care, ensuring consistent and reliable support during times of crisis.
- Working flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends, with both short and long hours available.

- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the UK working with Looked After Children, particularly those of secondary school age.
- An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential).
- The right to work in the UK.
- A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
- The ability to provide references covering the last 3 years, including at least two professional references.
- A comprehensive CV accounting for any gaps of over one month in employment since leaving school.
- If you’ve lived or worked overseas for more than six months in the last ten years (aged 18+), you’ll need an overseas police check.
