We are seeking experienced and dedicated tutors to join our growing network supporting students through personalised one-to-one tuition. We are particularly interested in tutors able to teach multiple core subjects and support students working outside mainstream education.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition in English, Maths, and Science
- Adapt learning materials to suit individual student abilities and learning styles
- Support students with gaps in education, low confidence, or additional needs
- Build positive and encouraging relationships with students and families
- Provide face-to-face tuition within students’ homes or local community settings
- Monitor progress and provide session feedback where required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong subject knowledge across core curriculum areas
- Ability to teach at least English and Maths
- Comfortable delivering face-to-face tuition
- DBS on the Update Service
- Flexible availability during school hours
- Reliable and professional approach
Desirable Qualifications
- PGCE and/or QTS
- SEN experience
- Experience preparing students for GCSEs or functional skills
