About Us: Supply Staff is currently recruiting ESOL Tutors to support students across Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas. We are looking for experienced ESOL Tutors who are passionate about helping children and young people develop confidence and communication skills through personalised education support.

Job Overview: As an ESOL Tutor, you will provide one-to-one tuition to students requiring additional English language support. The ideal ESOL Tutor will have experience supporting students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds and adapting lessons to individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one ESOL Tutor sessions
  • Support students with speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual language abilities
  • Build positive relationships with students and families
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback where required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching, tutoring, or ESOL support experience
  • Strong understanding of English language development
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • DBS on the Update Service
  • Reliable and professional approach
  • PGCE, QTS, TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA qualifications preferred
