About Us: Supply Staff is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support schools across the London borough of Newham. We are looking for compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

Job Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with special educational needs, providing tailored classroom support to help students engage, progress, and build confidence within education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN
  • Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and behaviour support
  • Help students with social development and classroom engagement
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support student progress

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Proven SEN experience preferred
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and reliable approach
  • DBS on the Update Service
