The Community Health & Social Care Wanstead & Woodford Cluster works with adults with varied needs, including physical disabilities, dementia, Parkinson's, Autism, Multiple sclerosis (MS), Head Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries, Learning Disabilities, etc., from 18 years to the end of life.
The working pattern is a hybrid system - 2/3 days in the office and the rest remotely. The work times are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The candidate will be on rota every 4 weeks to work on duty. During time on duty, the candidate will work in the office 3 times weekly and 2 times weekly on other weeks.
The work is intense and fast-paced. We seek social workers with robust experience working with people with varied needs. The suitable candidates must understand and effectively practice within statutory guidelines/framework, be independent, creative, work under pressure, be resilient and deliver assessments and support plans within agreed and sometimes very tight timescales.
