Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Wandsworth. As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging mathematics lessons, helping them develop confidence, problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess student progress and promote a positive learning environment. The ideal Maths Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons.
- Develop students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Maths.
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards.
- Collaborate with Maths Teachers and wider school staff.
Requirements:
- QTS or QTLS certification.
- PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Passion for teaching Maths.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
- Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
