Pay Rate: Β£140 - Β£200 per day

Job Overview:
Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Humanities Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Wandsworth. As a Humanities Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging lessons across subjects such as History and Geography, developing their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of the world around them. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess student progress and promote a positive learning environment. The ideal Humanities Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Humanities Teacher lessons.
  • Develop students' knowledge and critical thinking skills.
  • Teach relevant areas of History, Geography and Humanities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with Humanities Teachers and wider school staff.

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS certification.
  • PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Passion for teaching Humanities.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
  • Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
