Pay Rate: Β£140 - Β£200 per day
Job Overview:
Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified PE Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day to day supply work across Gloucestershire. As a PE Teacher, you will inspire students to lead active, healthy lifestyles through engaging physical education lessons and extracurricular sports activities. You will plan and deliver dynamic lessons, assess student progress and promote teamwork, fitness and wellbeing. The ideal PE Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS. Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE Teacher lessons.
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork and student wellbeing.
- Assess and monitor student progress in PE.
- Collaborate with PE Teachers and wider school staff.
- Lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs and events.
Requirements:
- QTS or QTLS certification.
- PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Passion for teaching PE.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
- Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
