Pay Rate: Β£140 - Β£200 per day

Job Overview:
Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Humanities Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day to day supply work across Gloucestershire. As a Humanities Teacher, you will inspire students to explore subjects such as history, geography and religious studies. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress and collaborate with colleagues to support academic achievement. The ideal Humanities Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS. Early career teachers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Humanities Teacher lessons.
  • Inspire critical thinking and understanding of society.
  • Assess and monitor student progress across humanities subjects.
  • Collaborate with other Humanities Teachers and wider school staff.
  • Support school academic goals and exam preparation.

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS certification.
  • PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Passion for teaching humanities.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • Must meet standard UK school safeguarding requirements.
