About Us: Supply Staff is currently recruiting Behaviour Mentors to support schools across Basildon. We are looking for resilient and reliable Behaviour Mentors who are passionate about supporting young people with behavioural and emotional needs.
Job Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties within a school setting. The successful Behaviour Mentor will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to improve behaviour, attendance, and classroom engagement. This Behaviour Mentor role is ideal for someone with experience supporting students with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support as a Behaviour Mentor.
- Help students regulate behaviour and remain engaged in lessons.
- Support students with SEMH and additional behavioural needs.
- Work alongside teachers, safeguarding staff, and pastoral teams.
- Build positive relationships with students and families.
Requirements:
- Previous Behaviour Mentor or youth work experience is desirable.
