The predicted salary is between 31650 - 40000 £ per year.

As a Principal Officer (Child Protection Chair), you will be responsible for chairing multi-agency Child Protection Conferences for some of the City’s most vulnerable children and young people, whilst proactively contributing to improving their safety and wellbeing.

Our safety planning is underpinned by the Strengthening Families approach, whereby you will ensure that parents and children are enabled to actively engage, and the child’s voice and lived experience is at the heart of safety planning. Participation and co-production are a key element of what we do.

We are a close knit, supportive team. We aim to communicate well with children and parents, building relationships with families and professionals, respectively challenging practitioners where necessary.
