Job Title: Nursery Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day
Job Overview:
Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced and caring Nursery Teaching Assistants to work across nursery and Early Years settings in Somerset. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will support young children with their learning, development and day to day activities, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Experience supporting children with SEN would be ideal, although this is not the main focus of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support children with learning, play and creative activities.
* Encourage communication, language development and early learning skills.
* Support children's social interaction, confidence and independence.
* Provide additional support to children with SEN and additional needs where required.
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating nursery environment.
* Work alongside teachers, nursery practitioners and other staff to support children's development.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Nursery Teaching Assistant or within a relevant Early Years setting is required.
* A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.
* Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs would be ideal.
* Good understanding of Early Years learning and child development.
* Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
