Job Title: Nursery Nurse

Pay Rate: Β£95 - Β£110 per day
Job Overview:
Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced and caring Nursery Nurses to work across nursery and Early Years settings in Somerset. As a Nursery Nurse, you will support young children with their learning, development and day to day care while helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Experience supporting children with SEN would be ideal, although this is not the main focus of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support children with learning, play and development activities.
* Encourage children's communication, confidence, independence and social development.
* Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
* Provide appropriate support to children with SEN and additional needs where required.
* Help maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating nursery environment.
* Work alongside nursery practitioners, teachers and other staff to support children's development.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or within a relevant Early Years setting is required.
* A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.
* Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs would be ideal.
* Good understanding of children's development and Early Years practice.
* Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
