Education Supply Pool are a PAYE Employer recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day to day, short-term and long-term positions on behalf of schools based in Blackwood and its surrounding areas. Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales. Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview and ID check in the office building, we are based in Newport city centre. Directions will be provided closer to date.
Responsibilities- Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment with the correct Education and Training.
- Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
- Provide stimulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
- Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
- Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
- Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.

- Minimum NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting.
- Minimum of 3 months experience working inside a classroom, either a Primary or Secondary school environment.
- Owning a valid UK Driver's License and having access to a vehicle would widen job opportunities.
- A minimum pay rate of at least £93.
- A team with over twenty years' experience in both small, local, and large national education agencies.
- A dedicated account manager with a background in teaching.
