We are currently recruiting for a full-time Turkish-speaking Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil who currently has very little/no English. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fluent Turkish-speaking Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping pupils develop their confidence and communication skills within the classroom.
The successful candidate will:
- Be fluent in Turkish and English
- Have previous experience working with children/experience in schools
- Have experience or confidence supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Be patient, nurturing and supportive
- Have the ability to build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
- Be confident working within a school environment and supporting the pupil’s learning and development
- Be available to work full-time
Safeguarding & Compliance:
- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain a new Enhanced DBS
- Must be able to provide satisfactory references, including relevant employment/childcare experience
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must be able to provide relevant identification and employment documentation
- Must be willing to complete all required safeguarding and compliance checks prior to starting
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable
