Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant's Wanted! (Multiple Roles Available!)

At the Supply Room, we work with SEN schools all over Bournemouth and Poole who are recruiting multiple SEN Teaching Assistants.

All of our roles require full time availability, working hours for the majority of our schools are 8:30am-3:30pm, however this may vary depending on the chosen school.

Each day, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to support and assist students with SEN, ensuring they reach their full potential by creating a fun yet stimulating environment.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, assisting them with their learning and development

• Collaborating with the classroom teacher to create and implement individualized education plans for students with SEND

• Implementing behaviour management strategies to support students with social and emotional difficulties

• Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring students are engaged and participating to the best of their abilities

• Providing differentiated support to meet the unique needs of each student, adapting resources and activities as necessary

• Supporting students during transitions between activities and classrooms, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all

• Promoting independence and self-esteem in students with SEND, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

While childcare experience is desired, it is not essential. However, we are looking for applicants who have experience working in care, sports coaches, activity camps or University graduates.

You must also have a real desire and genuine passion for working with and supporting children with SEN, along with being reliable, punctual and hard working.
