Work closely with students with SEND to understand their individual needs and challenges

Implement strategies and interventions to support students in managing their behaviour

Provide one-on-one support to students in developing social and emotional skills

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create tailored support plans for students

Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and other stakeholders regarding student progress and support strategies

Encourage participation in school, supporting those with low attendance in transitioning back into school

Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role with students with SEND

Strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant qualifications in education or social care (advantageous but not essential)

5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at a minimum Grade C / Level 4
