The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Work closely with students with SEND to understand their individual needs and challenges

  • Implement strategies and interventions to support students in managing their behaviour

  • Provide one-on-one support to students in developing social and emotional skills

  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create tailored support plans for students

  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary

  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and other stakeholders regarding student progress and support strategies

  • Encourage participation in school, supporting those with low attendance in transitioning back into school

  • Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role with students with SEND

  • Strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Relevant qualifications in education or social care (advantageous but not essential)

  • 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at a minimum Grade C / Level 4

  • Knowledge of relevant SEND legislation and best practices

Job Specification:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:00 – TERM TIME ONLY

  • This is an agency bases position, offering temporary opportunities in a variety of schools- not permanent employment
