We're seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 class at a welcoming primary school in Windsor. This is a morning-only role (8:30am-12:00pm).
Responsibilities
- Be a key support in the classroom, helping children settle into routines, build foundations in phonics, early reading, and number skills, and grow in confidence as learners.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils within the KS1 setting during morning sessions.
- Work alongside the class teacher to support engaging, play-based and practical learning activities.
- Prepare and adapt resources to suit a range of learning styles and needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe children's progress and share relevant feedback with the teaching team.
