Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Support pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs and parents/carers
  • Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies where needed

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working within SEN settings or supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Patient, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
