Secondary English Supply Teacher – Cardiff
Supply Hive Wales is looking for English teachers to cover secondary classes in schools across Cardiff. If you love bringing texts to life and helping students find their voice in their writing, we'd be glad to hear from you.
The role
- Teaching English lessons across KS3 and KS4, following the school's plans and schemes of work
- Supporting reading, writing and GCSE preparation
- Keeping classes settled, engaged and on task
- Marking work and leaving clear handover notes for the class teacher
About you
- QTS, with experience teaching English at secondary level
- Registered with the EWC as a school teacher, or able to register
- Confident managing behaviour and quick to settle into a new classroom
- Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
What we offer
- £173–£180 per day, paid weekly every Friday
