Nursery / Foundation Learning Teaching Assistant – Cardiff
Supply Hive Wales is looking for caring, upbeat Teaching Assistants to support our youngest learners in nursery and reception classes across Cardiff. If you love watching little ones grow in confidence through play, we'd really like to hear from you.
The role
- Supporting nursery and reception children through play-based, hands-on learning, indoors and outdoors
- Helping children build early language, number and social skills in small groups and one-to-one
- Encouraging independence with everyday routines like snack time, tidying up and getting ready to go outside
- Working closely with the class teacher to keep the classroom safe, calm and welcoming
About you
- Experience with young children, whether in a school, nursery, childcare setting or somewhere similar
- No TA qualification needed – we'll have a friendly chat about your experience and suitability before you register
- Patient, warm and happy to get stuck in (messy play included!)
- An Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service

- £93–£100 per day, paid weekly every Friday
