Welsh-medium Teaching Assistant – Full Time, Newport

Supply Hive Wales is looking for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant for a full-time role supporting pupils in a Welsh-medium primary school in Newport.
The role
- Supporting pupils through the medium of Welsh, in class and in small groups
- Helping children build confidence speaking, reading and writing in Welsh
- Working with the class teacher to keep lessons running smoothly
- Looking after pupils' wellbeing at break, lunch and through the school day
About you
- Confident speaking Welsh with children
- Experience with children, whether in a school, nursery, club or similar
- No TA qualification needed – we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
- An Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
What we offer
- £93–£100 per day, paid weekly every Friday
- Safeguarding training provided
- A full-time, Monday to Friday role
- Support from Brody and our Newport team, from registration onwards
