Primary Teaching Assistant – Full Time, Newport
Supply Hive Wales is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Newport on a full-time basis. If you love helping children learn and grow in confidence, this could be the role for you.
The role
- Working alongside the class teacher to support learning throughout the day
- Running small group and one-to-one sessions to help pupils catch up or push on
- Encouraging good behaviour and a calm, positive classroom
- Keeping an eye on pupils' wellbeing and letting the teacher know if anyone needs extra help
About you
- Experience with children, whether in a school, nursery, sports club or similar
- No TA qualification needed – we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
- Reliable, kind and happy to get stuck in
- An Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
What we offer
- £14.31–£15.38 per hour, paid weekly every Friday
- Safeguarding training provided
- A full-time role, Monday to Friday
- Support from Brody and our Newport team, from registration onwards
