Learning Support Assistant – Secondary, Cardiff
Supply Hive Wales is looking for Learning Support Assistants to help secondary students across Cardiff get the most out of their lessons. It's a great fit if you get on well with teenagers, stay calm when things get busy and like being someone students can rely on.
The role
- Supporting individual students and small groups in lessons across a range of subjects
- Helping students with additional learning needs stay focused, organised and on track
- Working alongside teachers to adapt work so every student can take part
- Encouraging positive behaviour and building students' confidence and independence
About you
- Experience with young people – in a school, youth club, sports coaching, care or similar
- No TA qualification needed – we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
- Patient, approachable and good at building relationships with teenagers
- Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
