Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Year 2 Support
Location: Cardiff Pay: £93 per day Hours: Full-time Start Date: October 2026
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school and provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 2 with Autism (ASD). The successful candidate will be caring, patient and confident in supporting children on an individual basis, helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and engage positively within the classroom.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
- Ideally have experience supporting children with ALN/SEND, particularly Autism.
- Be patient, nurturing and understanding of individual needs.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be confident supporting a child on a 1:1 basis.
- Be reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive difference.
In return, you will receive:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday hours.
- £93 per day.
- The opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive primary school.
