Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in Cardiff?
A welcoming primary school is looking to appoint a Year 3 Teacher to join their team for two days per week, starting after the October half term and continuing through to the Easter holidays 2027, with the opportunity for the role to be extended beyond Easter.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a consistent part-time role within a supportive and friendly school environment, with the potential for a longer-term placement.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and purposeful lessons to a Year 3 class, creating a positive learning environment and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with the wider school team to ensure consistency and continuity for the children.
The Ideal Teacher Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Be organised, reliable and committed to providing continuity for the class
- Have a positive and nurturing approach to behaviour and learning
