ALN Teaching Assistant – Secondary, Cardiff
Supply Hive Wales is looking for patient, encouraging people to support secondary learners with additional learning needs in schools across Cardiff. If you care about helping young people feel understood and included, this could be a really rewarding next step.
The role
- Supporting learners with ALN in lessons, one-to-one and in small groups
- Helping put targets from learners' IDPs into practice day to day
- Supporting communication, sensory and emotional needs with calm, consistent routines
- Working closely with teachers, the ALNCo and the wider support team
About you
- Experience supporting young people with ALN or SEN – in school, care, youth work or at home
- No TA qualification needed – we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
- Patient, observant and comfortable adapting your approach for each learner
- Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
What we offer
- £93–£100 per day, paid weekly every Friday
