1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary, Cardiff
Supply Hive Wales is looking for caring, patient people to work one-to-one with primary pupils across Cardiff who need a bit of extra support to thrive. If you love building trust with a child and seeing the small wins add up, we'd really like to hear from you.
The role
- Supporting one pupil through the school day, in class and at break and lunchtimes
- Working with the class teacher to adapt tasks so your pupil can join in with learning
- Helping with routines, emotional regulation and building confidence
- Sharing how your pupil is getting on with the teacher and wider school team
About you
- Experience with children – in school, childcare, youth work, care or even family life
- No TA qualification needed – we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
- Calm, kind and consistent, with plenty of patience
- Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
