Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding Primary School within a large and successful Multi Academy Trust in the Solihull (B91) area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Site Manager to join a welcoming and supportive school community. The role is available on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role
- Managing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school premises
- Ensuring the school site is safe, secure and fully compliant with health and safety regulations
- Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance checks
- Organising and supervising contractors on site
- Completing minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Managing security systems, alarms, locks and access control
- Supporting site improvements and maintenance projects
- Ensuring school grounds are maintained to a high standard
- Assisting with emergency call-outs when required
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience working as a School Site Manager within a UK school setting is essential. Applications without UK school experience will not be considered.
- Experience managing health and safety compliance within a school environment
- Strong practical maintenance and facilities management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and use initiative
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors
Desirable Criteria
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Experience working within a Primary School or Multi Academy Trust
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements within education settings
