About the Role
As a School Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards throughout classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and toilet facilities
- Wiping down surfaces, desks, and touch points
- Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Reporting any maintenance or site concerns to the relevant staff member
