Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity within a thriving Sixth Form environment? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Maths KS5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school with a successful Sixth Form in Perry Barr, Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term position starting at the beginning of the new academic year in September 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

The school has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted and has built a strong reputation for providing a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Ideally, the school is looking for an experienced Teacher; however, applications from ECTs are welcome also.

The Role

  • Teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 5 within a well-established Sixth Form
  • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to excel
  • Preparing students for A-Level examinations and further study
  • Monitoring, assessing and tracking student progress effectively
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
  • Has the ability and confidence to teach Maths at KS5
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • Possesses strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is committed to supporting students in achieving their academic goals
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
