Supply Heroes is looking for a dependable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to become part of a welcoming nursery team in Tipton. This is a fulfilling opportunity to support young children during their lunchtime in a safe, supportive setting.
Hours: 2 hours per day (11:30am - 1:30pm)
Job Role
- Overseeing children during lunch in both dining and play areas
- Helping children with their meals and promoting good table manners
- Supporting children's social development through inclusive play
- Reporting any concerns to senior staff in line with safeguarding policies
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for all pupils
- Encouraging positive behaviour and handling minor issues in a calm manner
- Assisting with the preparation and tidying of lunch spaces
The Right Candidate
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- A patient, friendly, and approachable attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- The ability to stay calm and professional in a busy environment
- Basic awareness of safeguarding practices (training can be provided)
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to the role
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential
