We are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Ladywood. The school is seeking an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging lessons and create a positive learning environment where pupils can thrive academically and socially. About the Role

  • Teaching a Key Stage 1 class, delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing engaging and creative lessons
  • Supporting pupils’ development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Upholding safeguarding and behaviour management policies

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Shows a genuine passion for supporting young learners
  • Understands safeguarding responsibilities and promotes pupil wellbeing
