Supply Heroes are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established primary school in the B64 (Halesowen) area for an experienced and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong focus on early childhood development. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Monitor, assess and record children’s progress effectively
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Support children’s social, emotional and educational development
- Maintain a well-organised and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching within a Nursery or EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for early years education and child development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
