Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity within a successful Sixth Form environment? We are currently recruiting for a talented Business Studies KS5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school with a thriving Sixth Form in Perry Barr, Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term position starting at the beginning of the new academic year in September 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role
- Teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 5 within a successful Sixth Form setting
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and innovative lessons
- Preparing students for A-Level Business examinations and further study
- Supporting students in developing commercial awareness, analytical skills and business acumen
- Monitoring, assessing and tracking student progress to ensure strong outcomes
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages achievement
- Contributing to the continued success of the Business and Economics department
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary school setting
- Has the ability and confidence to teach Business Studies at KS5
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for business education
- Possesses strong classroom management and communication skills
- Is committed to raising standards and supporting student success
- Has a positive, proactive and professional approach to teaching and learning
- ECTs are encouraged to apply
