We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support pupils with Autism and EHCPs in a specialist secondary school setting. The role focuses on providing tailored support to help students access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with Autism and complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assist with the delivery of lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
  • Support behaviour management using positive and consistent approaches
  • Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism and EHCPs
  • Experience working within a secondary school or SEN setting
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
