About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a specialist secondary provision supporting pupils with Autism and EHCPs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and developing provision, where you will play a key role in shaping a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of young people with additional needs. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and personalised lessons, supporting both the academic and personal development of pupils in a structured and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet EHCP targets
- Support pupils with Autism and communication needs
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with support staff, families and external professionals
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and learning approaches
About You
- Has experience working with pupils with Autism and SEN
- Has taught across at least two Key Stages
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to learn
- Can bring creativity, structure and positivity to the classroom
- Is a strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Is flexible and able to adapt to different classes and pupil needs
- Has a strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable learners
