Supply Heroes are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and welcoming primary school in the Aston area of Birmingham for a reliable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to join their team from May 2026. This is an important role within the school, ensuring pupils are safe, happy and well-supervised during the lunchtime period. You will be responsible for overseeing children in the dining hall and playground, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe environment at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising pupils during lunch in the dining hall and outdoor areas
- Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
- Assisting younger children where required
- Managing minor incidents and reporting any concerns to senior staff
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred)
- A calm, patient and approachable manner
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage behaviour in a positive and supportive way
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
