Supply Heroes are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and welcoming primary school in the Aston area of Birmingham for a reliable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to join their team from May 2026. This is an important role within the school, ensuring pupils are safe, happy and well-supervised during the lunchtime period. You will be responsible for overseeing children in the dining hall and playground, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe environment at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pupils during lunch in the dining hall and outdoor areas
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
  • Assisting younger children where required
  • Managing minor incidents and reporting any concerns to senior staff
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred)
  • A calm, patient and approachable manner
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage behaviour in a positive and supportive way
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
