We are a popular mainstream secondary school in Birmingham seeking a dedicated Hospitality Teacher to join our team from the start of the new academic year in September 2026.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience teaching Hospitality and Catering and be confident supporting Year 11 students with coursework and examination preparation.

The Role

  • Teaching Hospitality and Catering across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Supporting Year 11 students with coursework completion and moderation requirements.
  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student achievement.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Hospitality, Hospitality & Catering, or a related subject within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of GCSE Hospitality and Catering specifications.
  • Experience supporting Year 11 coursework is highly desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
