Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a warm and nurturing school in Newtown for a passionate EYFS Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years teacher seeking a part-time role, working 2 days per week.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage, delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and support every child's development.
No planning is required, allowing you to focus on building positive relationships with children and delivering engaging lessons.
You will work closely with the existing EYFS team to ensure continuity of learning while maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
The school is looking for someone who understands the importance of child-led learning, can adapt to the needs of young learners, and is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
Candidates with experience working in a Private Day Nursery or Nursery School setting will be particularly well suited to this role.
About the Role
- September start
- Part-time – 2 days per week
- Daily rate: £150 - £175, depending on experience
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned EYFS lessons

- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within EYFS is essential
- Experience in a Private Day Nursery or Nursery School environment is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Patient, caring and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
