About the Role

We are appointing a Member of the Board of Directors to help guide our UK growth, strategic governance, and scaling efforts. In this role, you will work alongside executive leadership and board colleagues to oversee corporate strategy, risk management, financial performance, and compliance with defense regulations. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping position Supply Energetics UK Limited as a sovereign defense leader while maintaining the highest standards of safety, ethics, and governance.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic oversight on UK and European market expansion, capital allocation, and defense contracting opportunities.

  • Ensure robust corporate governance, fiscal responsibility, and strict compliance with UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and HSE regulatory standards.

  • Advise executive leadership on technology transfer, supply chain resilience, and sovereign manufacturing scaling.

  • Oversee enterprise risk management, prioritizing safety-first protocols in high-hazard manufacturing environments.

  • Leverage industry, government, and commercial networks to foster strategic relationships across the aerospace and defense sectors.

  • Participate in regular board meetings, committee assignments, and strategic planning retreats.

What We’re Seeking

Must Have

  • UK citizenship with eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC or DV).

  • Proven track record as a Board Member, C-Suite Executive, or Senior Director in defense, aerospace, energetics, or advanced manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, UK regulatory frameworks, and financial oversight.

  • Exceptional strategic vision, commercial acumen, and sound judgment in high-stakes operational environments.

  • Uncompromising commitment to ethics, safety, and regulatory integrity.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience engaging with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), or NATO defense procurement bodies.

  • Familiarity with international trade regulations (e.g., UK Export Control, ITAR/EAR compliance).

  • Experience guiding high-growth engineering or manufacturing companies through scale-up phases.
